Robbyn is a London-based clothing label creating high-quality, uniform-inspired clothing.

This project lives where workwear, pop art, and urban graphics meet.

Robbun explore the everyday visual language of cities, from shopfronts to signage, and rework it into clothing that reflects pride, resilience, and work identity.

Each garment is based on vintage workwear pieces, timeless and made to last. Pieces can be customised with logo patches, echoing the visual codes of trades, businesses, and the people behind them.

Be proud of your skills.

For those who see beauty in what’s often overlooked.

HOW IT STARTED…

A friend of mine brought me a vintage uniform jacket from LA with a logo patch from a major U.S. Air Conditioning company. It had also this classic mechano style that just screamed timeless elegance.

I fell head over heels for a jacket and started wearing it like a second skin. People would smile at me on the street, and some even stopped to ask where they could find one like mine. The attention was unreal. I loved it so much that I decided to remake it, reinterpreting the cut and collar until it became my own.

That is how Robbyn was born.

I wanted to push the idea further by adding logo patches inspired by everyday professions such as an Air-Conditioning Heating company or a Scaffolding business. They are symbols of work and pride turned into something you can wear with style.

For production, I partnered with a family-run atelier in North London, now in its fourth generation. Their support and craftsmanship have been integral from day one.

The jacket itself is cut from a beautiful brushed cotton twill, woven in Manchester and finished with a water-resistant treatment.

I never set out to make a luxury piece, but with fabric this good and such meticulous construction, that is exactly what it became.

Since starting Robbyn, I’ve found myself paying much closer attention to my surroundings. Living in East London for the past ten years, I began to notice the details that shape the streets around me: shopfront signs, fading typography, hand-painted logos from local trades.

What began as casual observation turned into a habit of documenting. I take photos wherever I go, building a personal archive of the city’s visual language. These overlooked details, often temporary, sometimes on the edge of disappearing, carry memory, resilience, and pride.

This practice has become the heart of Robbyn. The archive isn’t just inspiration for design, it’s a way of preserving fragments of the city and giving them new life through clothing.

Logo speaks for craftsmanship & skills that are crucial to one's sense of identity and belonging.

COLLABORATION

It's fun to play pretend as a scaffolding company, but it's even more thrilling to be able to produce for a real company, who needs a uniform...and keen to sell it to individuals. That's exactly what happened with The Steamroom, a dry cleaner located in East London, highly regarded in the local community.

A collaboration with IDEA.LTD in 2022 made it possible to sell Robbyn in Dover Street Market all.around.the.world (LONDON, NYC, LA, TOKYO). We made the logo with a plant Patch to match the cap.
