Robbyn is a London-based clothing label creating high-quality, uniform-inspired clothing.
Born at the intersection of workwear, pop art, and urban graphics, Robbyn draws from the visual language of cities: shopfronts, signage, the everyday marks of trades and the people behind them, and builds it into clothing that lasts.
Each piece is rooted in vintage workwear. Customisable with logo patches.

HOW IT STARTED…
I've been obsessed with workwear for longer than I can explain. The kind worn by people who actually work. There's something about a logo patch on a jacket that gets me every time. A name, a trade, a family business. Decades of pride stitched onto a chest pocket.
It started with a jacket a friend brought back from LA. Vintage uniform piece, logo from a US air conditioning company, mechano collar, brushed cotton that had clearly lived a life. I wore it until strangers stopped me on the street to ask where they could find one. So I remade it. Adjusted the cut, kept the spirit. That became Robbyn.
The patches are inspired by everyday professions. Air conditioning engineers. Scaffolders. Pest control. The people who keep cities running and rarely get a lookbook.
Robbyn has made it to Dover Street Market in London, New York, LA and Tokyo, via a collaboration with IDEA.LTD.
It's a one person business, brought to life with the help of a London factory and a small number of very good people.
13 years in East London will do that to you. You start noticing things. The shopfront that's been there since the seventies. The hand-painted lettering above a business no one talks about. The logo of a family trade, faded but still standing.
I photograph everything. It started as a habit, became an obsession, and is now the whole point. The archive is where Robbyn comes from, not mood boards, not trend reports. Just years of walks and a phone camera pointed at things most people don't stop for.
A lot of what I photograph is disappearing. That feels like a reason to document it, not a reason to be sad about it.
COLLABORATION
It's fun to play pretend as a scaffolding company, but it's even more thrilling to be able to produce for a real company, who needs a uniform...and keen to sell it to individuals. That's exactly what happened with The Steamroom, a dry cleaner located in East London, highly regarded in the local community.
A collaboration with IDEA.LTD in 2022 made it possible to sell Robbyn in Dover Street Market all.around.the.world (LONDON, NYC, LA, TOKYO). We made the logo with a plant Patch to match the cap.
